IODASA 2024 SPRING COACHING CLINIC - GAC ( GSC)

2 days of Coaching and Fun at Goolwa- Dust off the cobwebbs before the summer sailing season start 

This is a coaching event and we particularly encorage and welcome all new tacker graduates to grab their boat and come along and participate in a fun weekend. 

All fleets coached: - Open, Intermediate  and Green 

Coaches include: 

State and Development Squad Coaches:  Harry Higgins and Quinn Auricht

Orange and Green Fleet Specialists: Brett Yardley, Ella Anderson and the famous Green team

Visiting Coach:   Jack Lewis

Jack has an impressive coaching credential - highlights including-

• VIODA State Optimist Coach
• Victorian Laser Association Coach
• Teams Racing Coach  
• Australian Optimist Team Coach

Currently coaching out of the ever popular Sorrento Sailing Couta Boat Club  - we are looking forward having Jack bring his skills, knowledge and insporation to our young sailors at this years Spring Clinic.

SCHEDULE

9:30am  : Sign In Desk open Saturday

Sat 10am -4pm ( lunch in the middle)

Sat 4:15pm  Youth Class Sasage Sizzle at GAC ( optis, ILCA and 420's)

Sat 4:45pm   Youth Sailing Pathways Presentation inc Q&A

Sun 9.30am -3pm    ( lunch in the middle)

COST

2 days $160/sailor

1 day $80/sailor

1 or 2 day attendance options available when registering

$20 Late fee incurred from from midnight 8th September

FOOD OPTIONS

Morning: 

Egg and Bacon Sangers purchasable on the spot both mornings.

Lunch: Pre Order Only

The GAC team will again be bringing warm food via Pre Ordered Lunches, available for both days. To purchase please go to the web page  SHOP and add as many items as you wish. 

Lunch Orders strictly close Wednesday 4th Sept 10pm

CONDITION OF ENTRY

To participate, sailors must:-

• Be financial members of IODASA  for season 2024_25. Memberships can be renewed on line under the meberships tab or Clicking  here MEMBERSHIP RENEWAL 
• Be financial members of their local sailing club and have an "active" Australain Sailing number. Dont know your AS number?? click here AS NUMBER FINDER
• Hold a current 3rd Party insurance policy on the sailing vessel -$5M AUD

Registrations maybe taken upto an including on the day however a late fee of $20 will payable after Mon 9th Sept 2024 midnight
